We are currently seeking a safety conscious, reliable Lead Hand Welder/Fitter for our afternoon shift operation (4 - 10 hour shifts Monday to Thursday).
Responsibilities Include:
Working closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure the schedule is followed to meet the customer’s needs, Oversee all operational activities during the shift, Ensure operations are maintaining proper quality standard and control,Training employees in “best work practices”, Enforce Health & Safety policies and procedures, Flexibility to work overtime.
Qualifications:
Previous lead hand experience, Excellent blueprint reading ability, Excellent quality control and inspection methods, Strong leadership and motivational skills, Strong written and oral communication skills, CWB welding supervisor certification. If not available must be obtainable. Machine shop processes a definite asset.
